Occhio Mito Linear
Mito combines design quality, quality of light and the interaction with light on a whole new level. Mito linear is the logical evolution of this iconic luminaire family. With its innovative features, it enables new forms of lighting design – in all spaces.
Occhio takes its inspiration from just one source: the sun itself. The quality of light produced by their new »high colour« LEDs comes very close to reaching this ideal: Colour rendering has as much nuance and depth as it does in nature itself.
With Occhio »touchless control«, light can be operated in the hand area with a simple gesture - contactless and intuitive. Switching, dimming, changing the light color or aligning the light up and down takes place naturally, thanks to infrared sensors, where the light is generated: on the luminaire head.
With »colour tune« you decide depending on the situation which colour temperature you want at the moment, from 2700 - 4000 K - with a gesture or with Occhio air. From a warm light atmosphere to cool light for concentrated hours.
Whether in a room or above a table: its unique height adjustment feature enables easy and convenient adjustment of the Mito volo. A sophisticated reel mechanism ensures that the pendant luminaire always remains horizontal at any desired height.
With Mito terra and Mito terra 3d, light is not only controlled by gestures or Occhio air, but also, if you wish, without any action on your part: The »presence sensor« used for the first time reacts to presence or absence and controls the light automatically - and efficiently.
The Mito linear luminaire series has been awarded twice – and in 2020 it received both the German Design Award and the iF Award in gold! Both juries praised the design and lighting quality of the series as well as Occhio's typical 'joy of use' promised by the multifunctional lighting system.
