Imperial Tobacco was completed in two phases with phase one being the new build. With a total cost of over £18m, the 100,000 sqm Headquarters office for Imperial Tobacco in Bristol is set over 4 floors, featuring an impressive open atrium to all floors with curved balconies and flowing lines.

It was important to create a crisp, corporate feel on entering the headquarters. We were precise about the requirements for the feature lighting; the luxurious Occhio lights were specifically chosen to accentuate the designed cool white contours and the warm rich timber features within the atrium, creating a dynamic arrival experience.

Architects AWW put sustainability at the heart of the scheme, with a high quality, energy efficient, contemporary building with a BREAAM rating of ‘Excellent’. The LED chips used in Occhio’s products not only provide long life and lower energy consumption, the exchangeable LED chips, means the products are both future proofed and sustainable.
